Suicide of fiancee makes medico take extreme step

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, July 27 (UNI) Depressed by the death of his fiancee, a medical college student ended his life by consuming pesticide in the college hostel here today.

Police said B V Som, son of a bank employee, was deeply in love with J Madhuri, a dental college student who allegedly committed suicide on June 23 last unable to bear her professor's harassment.

In a state of despair, he had attempted suicide by jumping before a railway track a few days ago, but was rescued by his friends.

Som left behind a suicide note, asking his parents to bury him near the grave of his fiancee.
