Sugar factory executive director booked for fraud

Nashik, July 27 (UNI) A complaint was filed against the executive director of Kadwa co-operative sugar factory and ten others for fraud, in Dindori taluka of the district According to a complaint filed on Wednesday last with Vani police by special auditor of the sugar department, Balasaheb Sukhdeo Gadakh along with Chandrakant Surupsing Lodha, Praksh Jagdish Thakur and Pooja Paresh Thakkar -- traders from Nashik Kadwa sugar factory, executive director Namdeo Vithoba Babadkar, chief account officer Shivaji Tulshiram Bhalerao, sugar sales chief Prakash Nivrthi Patil, assistant accounts officer Baburao Aher, cashier Raghunath Kishor Jadhav, clerk Pandit Kishor Shelke, and state co-operative bank officer N V Jondhale sold sugar worth over Rs 3 crore from the Kadwa co-operative sugar factory during the financial year June 25, 2004 to December 22, 2005.

Chandrakant Lodha, Paresh and Pooja Thakur mentioned enhanced amount on cheques and drafts deposited in the bank with the help of sugar factory executive director Babadkar and employees Patil, Aher, Jadhav and Shelke, according to the complaint.
