Sonia to tour Rae Bareli; to felicitate freedom fighters

Lucknow, July 27 (UNI) AICC president and Rae Bareli MP Sonia Gandhi will visit her parliamentary constituency for the first time after the just held assembly elections, on Monday.

During her three-day tour, the AICC president will participate in a function to felicitate freedom fighters at the birthplace of freedom fighter Beni Madho, Shankarpur. The function has been organised to mark the 150 years of the First war of Independence.

Ms Gandhi will also inaugurate a law college at Ataura Buzurg, UP Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said here.

During her stay, Ms Gandhi will address Congress workers, hold meeting of the constituency vigilance committee and carry out mass contact.

Her son and Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi today completed his four-day tour of his parliamentary constituency.
