Mumbai: Silver crashes, gold eases

Mumbai, July 27: Spot silver today crashed by Rs 315 per kg and gold by Rs 85 per ten gm on weak global advice in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 17,770, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,745, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,795.
