Bangalore, Jul 27 (UNI) The Karnataka Legislative Council today, witnessed an unprecedented scene, when a Coalition party member rushed to the well of the house demanding answer from the government on the alleged corruption charges leveled against State's Women University. During question hour, Mr Aravinda Limbavali (BJP) sought reply from the government on the action taken against Women University Vice Chancellor on the findings of an inquiry committee on irregularaties.

Mr Limbavali alleged that the Vice Chancellor was responsible for various irregularaties in the University and an inquiry committee constituted has also endorsed it and sought to know from the state government about the action taken on the findings of the Committee.

When the Higher Education minister D H Shankaramurthy was about to reply, House Chairman Prof B K Chandrashekar, announced that he would allow an half-an-hour discussion on the issue on Tuesday and the Minister can reply on the same day.

However, insisting the Minister to reply today itself, Mr Limbavali rushed to the well of the house and announced that he would resume to his seat only after getting reply from the Minister.

While taking exception to Mr Limbavalli's attitude the Chairman retorted that it would be difficult to conduct the house in proper manner if such things recur in future. He also permitted the Minister to reply on the issue today itself.
