NTPC and BARC ink MoU technology development

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) today said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for development of 'Automated Boiler Tube Inspection system in coal based thermal power plants'.

The collaboration will be of great utility to the company for competency building in new technology development for inspection of boiler tubes, said NTPC in a statement.

NTPC said the MoU also provides for future multiplication of such systems for which all necessary help will be extended by BARC.
