Nagaland: NSCN(K) rejects JFWC ceasefire

Kohima, July 27: The NSCN(K) has rejected the July 24 declaration of ceasefire of the Joint Forum Working Committee(JFWC) of the Nagaland Gaon Burah Federation(GB) and Nagaland Dobhashis Association (DB).

It has also ridiculed the declaration of ceasefire, asserting that the faction had neither been consulted nor invited for deliberations in this regard.

The outfit, in a release accused the JFWC of being manipulated by the rival NSCN-IM, and said the draft proposal, sent to the NSCN(K) was found to be drafted and signed by an NSCN(IM) leader.
