Kolkata and adjoining areas receives slight rainfall

Kolkata, Jul 27 (UNI) Kolkata and its adjoining areas received slight rainfall today with the sky remaining overcast for most part of the day.

The Alipore Met office recorded about seven mm rainfall.

The maximum temperature was 31.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 25.2 degrees Celsius, both one degree below normal.

The maximum relative humidity was 97 per cent.

The Met office forecast a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunder showers.
