Indonesian govt to enhance trade ties with India
Chennai, Jul 27 (UNI) The Indonesian government has sent a Parliamentary delegation to enhance trade ties between the two countries.
The 18-member delegation, headed by Abdul Hakamnaja told newspersons here today that Indonesia must be able to grab all the opportunities by establishing a strategic partnership with India, which is a big country and has many comparative advantages like advanced technology.
He also underscored the importance of cooperation in tourism, education and IT industries, as India was one of the better places to invest in these areas.
''We have fast-growing domestic market and abundant natural resources. If the countries' potentials are combined, both Indonesia and India will derive great advantage from their cooperation,'' he said.
The delegation, whivh would be here for two-days, is also expected to meet various political leaders, bureaucrats and other leading industrialists in the region.
