Hindu Mahasabha announces the candidate's name

Jamshedpur, July 27 (UNI) The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha(ABHM)today named Anil Kumar Upadhyaya as the official candidate for the August 29 Jamshedpur Parliamentary by-election.

ABHM North-East India secretary-cum-Jharkhand state executive president Dharam Chand Poddar told newspersons here that his party would fight for the cause of the hindus.

Mr Poddar said in today's politics except the Hindu Mahasabha, no other party was working for the welfare of the Hindus and said the party's aim was to reunite the divided Hindus.

He criticised the BJP for its appeasement policy.

''The BJP is much ahead than the Congress as far as the appeasement to minorities is concerned and the party has done much harm to the Hindus instead of doing good.'' Mr Poddar said the party's candidate would give a good fight in the coming loksabha bypoll.
