Haryana NSUI chief resigns, supports Bishnoi
Bhiwani, July 27 (UNI) Haryana NSUI president Virender Kaushik today resigned from his post and joined hands with suspended Congress MP Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Announcing his resignation here, Mr Kaushik said the Congress high command made a mistake by not apppointing Mr Bhajan Lal as the Chief Minister of Haryana when the party returned to power in the state more than two years ago.
During this period, he alleged, the main activists of the Youth Congress and the NSUI were sidelined and neglected in the party.
He said Kudeep Bishnoi, son of Mr Bhajan Lal, had now come to the forefront and become a voice of the ''real'' Congress activists.
He said he would strengthen the hands of Mr Bishnoi who was fighting a struggle to restore the honour of the ''real'' Congress workers.
Mr Kaushik said he had also resigned as a special invitee of the AICC.
