GOC 3 Corps review Manipur situation

Imphal, July 27: Lieutenant General MS Dadwal, AVSM, VSM, GOC 3 Corps today reviewed the law and order situation in Manipur.

He was briefed on the situation in Manipur and Asom by Major General TS Handa, SM, GOC Red Shield Division and Maj Gen Chengapa, IG of Assam Rifles(South).

During the discussions, security scenario in each segment of Manipur and South Assam were examined to formulate future security strategy in view of the myriad infrastructural projects being undertaken by the Central and State governments, a release said.
