GMR Infra consolidated Q1 net at Rs 46.41 cr

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) Bangalore-based GMR Infrastructure Ltd has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 46.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 46.62 crore in the same quarter last year.

The consolidated total income also surged by 21 per cent from Rs 410.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 495.76 crore in the corresponding quarter this year.

On a stand-alone basis, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 73 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to net loss of Rs 9.05 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

Total income of the company also increased from Rs 23 lakh in Q1FY07 to Rs 7.07 crore in the corresponding quarter this year.

The main growth driver during the quarter was Delhi Airport adding net operating revenues of Rs 48 crore as compared to the corresponding previous quarter, the company said in a statement.

The consortium of GMR Infrastructure Ltd (GMR) has won the bid for Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SGA) at Istanbul in Turkey.
