TN: Fishermen 'net' rocket launchers

Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu, July 27: Local fishermen off the coast of Kanniyakumari 'netted' two rocket launchers concealed in separate wooden boxes last night.

Police said a group of fishermen ventured into the sea last evening when they found two wooden boxes in the net.

The fishermen took the 'catch' to the shore and informed the police who found rocket launchers, each 4.5 feet in length, in the boxes.

This was the fourth incident of seizure of rocket launchers from the sea off Ramanathapurm-Kanniyakumari Coast in the recent days, they said.
