Carborandum Universal sales grew by 23%

Chennai, July 27 (UNI) Carborandum Universal Limited today reported that its sales grew to Rs 140 crore, a growth of 23 per cent, over the corresponding period the previous year.

A Company release here said its exports had registered a strong growth of 25 per cent from last year's Rs 14.2 crore to Rs 17.8 crore.

The last year's results benefited from a significant income of Rs 3.9 crore arising from sales of assets.

The profit before tax was Rs 16.7 crore compared to the same period of previous year's Rs 19.2 crore.

The net profit was Rs 11.3 crore compared to the corresponding period of same year's Rs 13 crore, the release added.
