Advani calls on Singapore Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong

Singapore, July 27 (UNI) Former Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Opposition L K Advani called on Singapore's Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong this afternoon.

Mr Advani and Mr Goh discussed the developments in India and the South Asian region. Both the leaders have met on a number of previous occasions, said a Singapore government statement.

They last met during Mr Goh's visit to India in January 2006.

Mr Advani is currently visiting Singapore to attend the 14th International Sindhi Sammelan, a networking conference for the Sindhi diaspora.
