Three accused murderers produced before ACJM

Barrackpore, Jul 26 (UNI) Altogether three people were produced before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate here today in connection with the killing of a 24-year-old youth under Beejpur police station in North 24 Parganas.

After the arrest of the local youth Sentu Debnath, police arrested two others Bikash Roy and Dilip Rana yesterday.

Earlier, Sentu was taken to police remand and following interrogation police arrested the duo while another one, allegedly the mentor of killing Bapan Mandal remained absconded.

Police recovered the body of Bapan Mandal from the bank of Sarat palli on July 23 morning while he was killed on July 24 night by the miscreants, police added.

The accused were remanded to judicial custody by the ACJM, police said.
