Poorvanchal University terminates evening classes
Jaunpur, July 26: Veer Bahadur Singh Poorvanchal University has terminated its evening classes here.
''The decision to this effect was taken in a meet headed by Vice chancellor and Varanasi divisonal commissioner Nitin Ramesh Gokarn yesterday,'' examination controller R S Yadav said here today.
The varsity has decided to increase the number of graduate and post-graduate seats by 25 per cent in the session 2007-08, he added.
This will take the seats of about 439 university affiliated colleges to 2,58,706.
The VC also passed strict orders to declare the results of courses, which are not declared yet.
