ONGC Q1 net up 11.95 per cent

New Delhi, July 25: State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd(ONGC) today said it has reported a 11.95 per cent surge in its netprofit at Rs 4,610.53 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007as compared to Rs 4,118.99 crore in the same quarter last year.

However, the total income declined from Rs 15,022.72 crore in Q1FY06 to Rs 14,526.51 crore during Q1FY07, a press release said.
