Infosys, Mobera bag IT awards

Chandigarh, July 25 (UNI) Infosys Technologies Ltd for software development in the multinationals category, and Mobera Systems Pvt Ltd from the SME category have been selected for the STPI Exports Awards (FY2006-07).

Dr Sanjay Tyagi, Additional Director, STPI Mohali, announced the awards at a press conference here today.

Haryana Governor A R Kidwai will give away the awards at the eRevolution 2007 networking conference here on August two.

In the ITES sector, Dell International Services (I) Pvt Ltd and Excel Callnet Pvt Ltd have been selected for the awards.

This year STPI also selected six companies, two each from Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, for Fast Tracker Awards for their fastest growth.

From Punjab, the Award for Software Development has been bagged by Tech Tier IT Solutions, while Lambodra Info Tech Pvt Ltd got the award in ITES category.

From Haryana, it is Webart Softech for software development and FCS Software Solutions for ITES category.

From Chandigarh region, Vertex Infosoft Solutions Pvt Ltd got the award for software development, while Acoustic Technologies Pvt Ltd for ITES category.
