Tractor trolley carrying 30 labourers falls into Yamuna Canal

Chandigarh, Jul 24 (UNI) A tractor trolley carrying about 30 labourers fell into Western Yamuna Canal near Panipat Refinery this morning, reports received here said.

The number of casualities, if any, in the mishap was not yet known. Some labourers are believed to have swam to safety.

Civil and police authorities have rushed to the site and launched rescue operation. The authorities have requisitioned the services of divers. The labourers were engaged in the Naptha Cracker Project of the refinery.
