Nitco Tiles Ltd Q1 net profit up by 61 pc

Mumbai, Jul 24: Nitco Tiles Ltd, the second larget tiles company in the country today announced a 61 per cent jump in its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 07 to Rs 11.09 crore as against Rs 6.90 crore during the corresponding period last year.

Net sales for the first quarter FY 08 stood at Rs 116.50 crore, up by 32 per cent as against Rs 88.37 crore posted in the same period last year. Earning Per Share (EPS) for the quarter stood at Rs 4.98 as compared to Rs 3.10 posted in Q1 FY07, the Company's release said.
