Ujjal Nikam threatened by blast convicts
Mumbai July 24: Chief public prosecutor Ujjal Nikam in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case, was today allegedly threatened by three convicts at the TADA court premises after they were awarded death penalty.
Zakir Hussian, Abdul Akhtar Khan and Firoz Amani Malik, while walking down the staircase after the court announced the verdict, started abusing Adv Nikam and threatened him of dire consequences.
Adv Nikam said he will file a complaint with the police. He has been already provided with Z plus security and bullet-proof car, considering the sensitive nature of the case.
