Molestation case in school:parents agitate over issue

Chennai, July 24 (UNI) Tension prevailed for a while as parents of Kendriya Vidyalaya students resorted to road-roko agitation in front of the school at K K Nagar in the city today, protesting against the alleged molestation of eight-year-old girl, by a non-teaching staff member.

Police said the staff Selvaraj, was arrested recently for allegedly molesting the minor girl. Hundreds of parents gathered before the school and staged a protest, seeking action on three more employees of the school, who were also said to be involved in the crime.

Police rushed to the spot, persuaded the agitators and restored normalcy.
