Leptospirosis claims one; toll rises to five in Surat

Surat, July 24 (UNI) One person died of leptospirosis in the city today, taking the toll to five.

Govind Sukha Choudhari (30) who was admitted to the New Civil hospital on July 21 for leptospirosis, died this morning, said health officials.

Two more patients -- Rajesh Mohan Solanki (28) and Bachu Babu Patel (40) -- were admitted with symptoms of letospirosis to the New Civil hospital today, officials added.
