Haryana Cultural Workshop at Hansi from August 2

Chandigarh, July 24 (UNI) Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department will organise a state-level Cultural Workshop at Hansi from August 2 to 7.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman of the Department said that as many as five youth from each district would participate in this workshop.

He said that an intensive coaching would be provided to the artistes of the State so that they would perform well in the National Youth Festival.

He said that under the cultural promotion and national integration scheme an amount of Rs. 15 lakh would be spent on organising the cultural workshops and programmes during the current financial year.

He said that the young artistes of different cultural events like classical music, folk songs, dances and drama activities would be provided proper guidance and coaching.

The Spokesman further informed that Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs department had been making all out efforts to promote the ancient cultural heritage of Haryana in particular and of country in general by organising such cultural workshops, programes and sports festivals from time to time in different parts of the state.
