Air Commodore Rao takes over as NCC Dy Director General

Bangalore, Jul 24 (UNI) Air Commodore P Rajesh Rao has taken over as the new National Cadet Corps Deputy Director General for Karnataka and Goa.

Prior to this appointment, he had served as Air Officer Commanding of a Fighter Base at Headquarter, Eastern Air Command.

Commissioned into the Fighter Stream of the Indian Air Force in 1974, Air Commodore Rao has so far completed more than 5000 hrs of flying and has flown most of the fighter aircraft in the IAF, according to a PIB, Defence Wing, release here today.

He had held various appointments at Directorate of Offensive Operations and Directorate of Planning at Vayu Bhawan.
