ABG Shipyard bags Rs 1,460 cr order

New Delhi, July 24: Ship building company ABG Shipyard Ltd today said it has secured an order for construction of 12 vessels of about 32,000 DWT, valued at Rs 1,460 crore from Thailand-based Precious Shipping Public Co Ltd.

The order book position of the company stood at about Rs 5,560 crore, as on date, a statement said.

Precious Shipping Public Company Ltd is a pure dry cargo ship-owner operating in the handy size sector of the tramp freight market.
