Vigilance submits charge sheet against 21 people

Patna, Jul 23 (UNI) The state Vigilance Investigation Bureau and Bihar police today submitted charge sheets against 21 people in three separate cases of corruption.

Charge sheets were submitted before Special Vigilance Judge of Patna S K Panwar under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Corruption Act.

The first charge sheet was submitted by the Bureau against 13 people in the case relating to financial irregularities of over Rs 31.55 lakh committed by officers and employees of Minor Irrigation Department and Secretariat Treasury during 1994-95.

The second charge sheet was related to the financial irregularities committed by personal secretaries of Building Construction Minister and officials of Finance Department and Secretariat Treasury during 1994-95.

The third charge sheet was submitted by the Gaya police in a case related to printing and fabricating false certificates and tabulating chart in Magadh university, Gaya. The case was registered at Gaya civil line police station in May this year.
