Stay order on selection process of PCS exam 2004 extended

Allahabad, July 23 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today extended the stay on selection process of State Civil PCS examination until next hearing.

A Division Bench comprising Justices B M Sahay and Bharati Swroop posted the hearing on the matter for next month. The Court had stayed appointments after PCS examination results were declared on January 9, 2004 on a petition by Dinesh Pratap Singh and others alleging irregularities in the results.

The petition contended that more than 50 per cent reservation had been given in the exam result and in the Hindi and Essay papers scaling of marks was done which is illegal.
