SIX Chinese with forged travel documents held
Chennai, July 23 (UNI) Airport Police arrested six Chinese nationals for allegedly attempting to fly to Singapore on forged travel documents, at the Anna International Airport here last night.
Police said Chowai, Chang Chea, Lawye, Seelev Zan, Changman and Lianghangwan were arrested after the travel documents, which they produced before the Immigration authorities, were found to be forged.
All of them were detained. During interrogation, it was found they had Indonesian passports and reached New Delhi via Nepal. They came here to board a Singapore Airlines flight.
The accused were handed over to the Central Crime Branch Police for further action.
