RBI cancels Gurgaon-based NBFC's registration
Mumbai, July 23 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the registeration certificate of a Gurgaon-based non-banking financial company (NBFC) with effect from July 3.
In a release issue today, the Bank said the registeration certificate of H S Sindhu Private Financial Ltd was cancelled as the company had opted out of the non-banking financial institution.
Following which, the company could not transact the business of a NBFC any more.
The RBI has been conferred with the powers of cancelling an NBFC's certificate under 45-1A of the RBI act.
