Police told to crack down on human traffickers
Warangal, July 23 (UNI) The police will now be reoriented to take steps for the rehabilitation of the rescued commercial sex workers, district Superintendent of Police Soumya Mishra said today.
Participating at a two-day orientation camp on 'Anti human trafficking,' here Ms Soumya said police would be involved in rescue operations of the sex workers. ''Instead of conducting raids at brothels, attention would be diverted to cracking down human traffickers.
Their rehabilitation would be taken up in association with district administration and NGOs, she added.
