Pathology raided, 8 held

Allahabad, July 23 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a racket, involved in illicit buying and selling of blood with the arrest of eight persons.

The racket was busted in a raid at Life Line Pathology, situated in Vichua colony of Fatehpur. The pathology was being run on fake license.

Eight persons, were caught red-handed, while they were selling the blood. Besides, eight blood bags and other equipments were recovered from the spot.

The blood was being supplied to several nursing homes of the rural areas in the city.
