ONGC sells mid-Aug Hazira stem

Singapore, July 23: Oil and Natural Gas Corp.(ONGC) has sold a 35,000-tonne naphtha cargo for Aug. 15-16 loading from Hazira at a similar premium to its previous sale, a trading source said on Monday.

ONGC sold the cargo to European trader Vitol at a a tonne premium to Middle East quotes, on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.

ONGC previously sold a July 31-Aug.1 loading cargo to Japanese trader Itochu at a .50 premium to Middle East quotes, also on an FOB basis.

ONGC usually exports two 35,000-tonne cargo per month from Mumbai.
