MP Assly extends greetings to Pratibha Patil

Bhopal, July 23: The Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly today congratulated newly-elected President Pratibha Patil.

Speaker Ishwardas Rohani extended greetings to Ms Patil on behalf of the House.

Congratulating Ms Patil, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed the hope that she would work in the interest of the nation.

Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi also congratulated Ms Patil on becoming the first woman President.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra also extended his greetings to Ms Patil.
