Bangalore, July 23 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Heavy rainfall amounts (cm) : Kundapur 7.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Karwar 6; Kota, Gubbi 5 each; Mangalore, Guledgudd, Aurad, Sedam 4 each; Panambur, Karkala, Sindagi, Chincholi, Ramanagara, Maddur 3 each; Mangalore AP, Mani, Siddapura (Udupi dt), Ankola, Koppal, Bangalore Airport, Channapatna, Magadi, Hadagalli 2 each; Mulki, Dharmasthala, Subramanya, Puttur, Kumta, Mundagod, Kaladgi, Bhalki, Raichur, Kuknoor, Jayapura, Balehonnur, Malavalli, Bangalore City, Tumkur, Sira 1 each.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
