IndiaMART to launch specific guides for global buyers

New Delhi, July 23 (UNI) To maximise the reach of Indian suppliers to global buyers irrespective of the medium they use, IndiaMART is soon going to launch specific guides for the global buyers, thereby placing the Indian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on the global B2B map.

This series of industry specific guides will provide supplier information on the key export-oriented industries in the country including apparel, handicraft, auto components, industrial products, etc.

The sourcing guides will be circulated at popular EXIM and B2B trade fairs across the globe, the company said in a statement.

''IndiaMART Sourcing Guides aims to take the small-to-medium Indian supplier to the desk of every global buyer, whether or not he is online. We want to leave no stone unturned in our effort to boost exports from Indian SMEs to the world,'' IndiaMART Founder and CEO Dinesh Agarwal said in the statement.

It's more than 200,000 members are estimated to have generated roughly around one billion dollars worth of business. The new series of printed sourcing guides will further strengthen the brand's popularity in the international EXIM market.

''The first guide in the series will be launched in August 2007 in Singapore and Las Vegas,'' Mr Lalit Masta, Head - IndiaMART Sourcing Guides said.

The guides will help importers and buyers across the globe by way of providing tips on sourcing and importing goods from India, along with a comprehensive listing of manufacturers and suppliers from teh country.

IndiaMART plans to distribute these Sourcing Guides via multiple channels including key international trade fairs, embassies and trade associations in all major importing countries such as the US, the UK, Germany, China, Singapore, France, the UAE, Canada, Australia, etc.
