Imation launches 4GB flash drive priced at 1,800

New Delhi, July 23: Imation India Pvt Ltd, a removable data storage media manufacturer, today launched its new Nano Flash Drive with up to 4GB memory space priced at Rs 1,800.

The flash drive comes with data retention period of 10 years and a five-year limited warranty.

''The Imation 4GB Nano Flash Drive is the smallest of the Imation USB drive family and combines a professional design with the performance and storage capacity needed to easily manage and transfer digital files,'' said company Country Manager Sanjay Koul.

It features an all-in-one swivel cap design that protects the drive and solves the problems of lost caps, he added.

The product is equipped with password protection and drive partitioning software for Windows 2000 and above.

''Nano Flash is compatible with Mac OS and Linux. The plug-and-play format allows one to drag and drop files on almost any computer with a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port,'' Mr Koul said.
