Govt releases fund under ACDP

Hyderabad, July 23 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today released Rs 56.75 crore to clear the pending payments for works completed during 2005-06 and 2006-07 under Assembly Constituency Development Programme (ACDP).

According to an official release, the government had issued orders according sanction for incurring expenditure not exceeding Rs 36.87 crore towards second quarter amount at the rate of Rs 12.50 lakh per Assembly Constituency to be spent under district-in-charge minister's quota under ACDP scheme.

The Government had also ordered four Regional Planning and Development Boards constituted by the government to exercise a choice of works to the tune of Rs 50 lakh per year for developmental activities in each constituency.

Earlier, the govenment had released Rs 110.62 crore for 2005-06 and Rs 221.25 crore for 2006-07 under ACDP as per the enhanced amount to Rs one crore per constituency from Rs 50 lakhs per year.
