FACT registers net loss at Rs 46.36cr

New Delhi, July 23: Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) today said it has posted a net loss of Rs 46.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to net loss of Rs 56.80 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The total income for Q1FY07 increased to Rs 328.91 crore from Rs 258.37 crore during Q1FY06, a statement said.

FACT also posted net loss of Rs 124.73 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as against net profit of Rs 235.66 crore during the previous fiscal.

The company's total income, however, rose to Rs 1,489.89 crore for FY07 against Rs 1,405.47 crore during the last fiscal.
