CA ties-up with SPJIMR

Mumbai, July 23 (UNI) CA (India) Technologies Pvt Ltd, a global IT management software provider, today announced its tie-up with city- based S P Jain Institute of Management&Research (SPJIMR) to meet the demand for trained professionals in IT infrastructure management and software engineering.

The tie-up is expected to facilitate the design and deployment of security solutions and align it to business needs.

''CA's expertise in technology&practices and SPJIMR's commitment to influence practice provides the right blend of learning and application for aspiring IT security professionals,'' said Prof Sunil Rai, Joint Director of SPJIMR.

Under the alliance, SPJIMR would offer CA software courses as part of its post-graduate programmes and executive development programmes.

Inaugurated in 1981 by former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's SPJIMR is rated among the top ten B-schools in the country.

US-based CA was founded in 1976 and is one of the world's largest IT management software providers with 150 offices in more than 45 countries. They serve more than 98 per cent of Fortune 1000 companies. It started its operations in India in 1997 and has six offices at Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Ahmedabad. In 2006, CA reported US 3.79 billion dollars in revenue, the release added.
