Body of kidnapped boy recovered

Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka, July 23 (UNI) Police have recovered the body of a kidnapped seven year old boy from a 3000 ft deet sink near an abandoned gold mine in Marikuppam police limits, here today.

Polic said the boy Ajit, a second standard stuident of a government school in Kuppam in Andhra Pradcesh was kidnapped on July 20 and brought here by four kidnappers.

The boy accidentally fell into the sink which was full of water, polic said. The mishap occoured even before the kidnapers could contact the parents and seek ransom.

On receiving complaint from Ajit's Father Narayanappa on July 20, Kuppam police arrested a neighbour Nurulla who on questioning confessed to have kidnapped Ajit with the help of three of his friends for collecting ransom.

Police arrested Dinesh and Ramakanth search for Imran who is absconding.
