Bank managar shot dead
Jaipur, July 23(UNI) Some unidentified youth today shot dead a bank manager and injured the cashier in an attempt to loot them.
According to police sources, the incident took place at Khanpur Badora village in Baran district this morning. Police said Hadauti Grameen Bank managar Manmohan Tyagi and Cashier Laxman Singh were on their way to Katawar branch on a motor cycle and carrying a bag containing keys of the double locks of the bank. The youth mistook the bag for cash.
On the way, Manmohan Tyagi and Laxman Singh were attacked by the unidentified looters hiding in forest areas. They opened fire on them and the bank manager, Manmohan Tyagi, died on the spot while Laxman Singh survived with bullet injuries. He was referred to Jhalawar hosptial.
The police have launched a manhunt for the miscreants.
