Suryachakra Power to list shares on BSE

Mumbai, July 22: Power generation major Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd will list its shares on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) tomorrow.

Suryachakra has come out with an IPO of 340 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each at a price of Rs 20 per share, aggregating Rs 6,800 lakh.

The company operates a 20 mega watt power plant in the Andaman&Nicobar Islands and its three wholly-owned subsidiaries are setting up two biomass-based power plants of 10 MW in Maharashtra and two other plants of 9.8 MW in Chhatisgarh.

In an earlier development, the company's subsidiaries Lahari Power&Steels Ltd and South Asian Agro Industries Ltd have signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with Tata Power Trading Company Ltd for supply of 9.8 MW power by each of these subsidiaries to Tata Power fora period of five years from October.
