Two college students sent to seven days jail

Agartala, Jul 21 (UNI) The Sonamura sub-division magistrate in West Tripura yesterday sentenced seven days of imprisonment to two college students in a case of ragging.

Police said the two second year students had physically abused a fresher, who had gone for seeking admission into the college, where the accused studied, last month.

The victim's family had lodged a complaint with the police and after a month-long hearing the court had sent the duo to jail for seven days.
