Lucknow, July 21 (UNI) Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi, who led the Congress campaigning in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, will visit his parliamentary constituency on Monday.

The four-day visit will be Mr Gandhi's first after the just-held assembly elections.

The AICC had recently blamed the poor organisational structure for the party's dismal performance in the elections. The Congress' tally had dropped to 22 from 25 MLAs in the last assembly.

Mr Gandhi would address several worker meets and distribute scholarship cheques to students from the minonity comunity during his tour.

Besides carrying out inspections of the various developmental projects in the constituency, the MP will also address Congress workers at block level.

He would also distribute job cards to villagers under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).

On the last day of his tour on July 27, he will address a district-level meeting of vigilance committee which inspects the various developmental works in his constituency.
