Jamshedpur, July 21 (UNI) Despite claims by police, no breakthrough was made till today even after four days of abduction of industrialist Vishwanath Garg.

The 45-year-old industrialist, owner of an iron ore induction plant, Galaxy Expo Private Limited, at Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, was reportedly kidnapped while on his way back home here at Sonari area four day ago.

Mr Garg his driver and the car are still to be traced.

The police teams of both the Seraikela-Kharsawan and the East Singbhum district had launched combing operation in the all possible hideouts in the state and the neighbouring Bihar and West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the businessmen and the industry representatives held an emergency meeting here yesterday and decided to call for a bandh on Monday to protest the abduction and deterioration of law and order situation in the state.

They alleged that the members of the business community were not safe and felt insecure in the state.

About 700 industrial units and 5,000 shops would observe one-day bandh in and around the steel city here, general secretary of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries Suresh Santholia said.
