MMA's initiative towards creating a global mindset

Chennai, July 21 (UNI) Madras Management Association (MMA) and All India Management Association (AIMA) jointly organised a workshop here today on 'Creating Global Mindset' featuring world renowned US-based Management Guru Prof Jagdish Sheth of Emory University.

The main objective of the workshop was to provide insights into 'how to globalise and tap a world of opportunities' in a 'flat world' as India gets increasingly integrated with global economy.

The workshop was highly interactive which focused on Indian corporates as well as on Indian public sector units.

The CEO panels focused on challenges encountered in transforming the company's culture.

Case studies of companies that had morphed into truly global enterprises and the companies that had failed were also presented during this workshop.
