Hyderabad, July 21 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) leaders today said they would launch indefinite hunger strikes from tomorrow asking the state government to implement the recommendations of K Ranga Rao Committee on land reforms in the state.

According to a press release here, CPI and CPM State Secretaries K Narayana and BV Raghavulu alleged the government has failed to implement the recommendations even after the Left parties had been organising agitations, demanding the distribution of agricultural lands and house sites to the poor for the last three months.

Stating the Left parties would organise the hunger strike in 23 districts besides Hyderabad, they said state party leaders would also participate.
